<div>Droolers, I need some help. I have a young hound, about three years old. He came to be due to a failed adoption. I picked him up from the house, brought him home, and he settled right in. But then a couple of months after that, problems started appearing. He became snarky around some of the other hounds. He would just jump them for no reason. About that time, he began to do the butt scoot boogie (anal gland problems). He would go in once a month to get them cleaned out. He would be fine for about three weeks, and then the snarky would start in again. He is on pumpkin and metamucil, and the glands still fill up, and he gets snarky. We started to go to obedience class, but that had to be postponed.</div>
<div>If anyone has any ideas that will help the dear boy settle in and become part of the pack without trying to fight with whomever, I would greatly appreciate any ideas.</div><div>I am planning on taking him to the vet and get some blood work done and see if there are any problems there, but until then please help all of us.</div>
