"Corkery's Strike It Rich" came home. We have changed Ell<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">ie's name to Patsy in honour of the wondrous Patsy Cline. From all accounts, <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">The Cline, as she called herself, was a little bossy, a little brash and one great, big voice<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial"> (remarkably like our new <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">sweetheart).<br><br><font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">Patsy is not a rescue<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">
but, rather<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">, a re-home. She is six<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial"> years old, confi<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">dent, ebullient and loving. She was b<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">red and owned by Deirdre McKinnon, Corkery Bassets, of Prince Edward Island. Patsy has far better breeding tha<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">n Paul and I p<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">ut together <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">(namely because we have none) and <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">is <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">both a US and Canadian champion. I thought I would be overwhelmed by her
ultra-long ears, her short little legs and her gigantic paws but <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">I find myself<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">, rather, enchanted by <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">her extrao<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">r<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">din<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">ary sweetness and her <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">good intelligence.<br><br><font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial"><font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial"><font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">No dog can ever replace <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">our</font></font> late and well-loved Flash
but we are hoping that Patsy's easy-going nature will bring <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">Wilma 'round to her old level of happiness<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">. Paul and I have already fallen head over heels in love <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">with <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial"><font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">her.</font></font> <br><br><font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">Our sincere thanks to Deirdre McKinnon for entrusting Patsy to us. <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">Genetics <font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">has played a huge role<font style="font-size:12pt;" size="3"><font style="" face="Arial">, of course, but Deirdre <font style="font-size:12pt;"
