Previously, the son had pled “not guilty” but has changed his plea to “no contest” which essentially means that he is not challenging the finding that he did it, but not admitting guilt (usually done to avoid civil penalties.) In light of his change of plea, there will be no trial, and according to the news report, sentencing will occur next week. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'>I’ll keep watching the local stations for more info on the sentencing.
