I'm sure yours are brilliant but mine are about to drive me straight to the funny farm!!!</div><div><br></div><div>Yesterday Snoopy decided that Gracie was offensive. She was hiding from him around corners and behind doors ..... ducking ...... don't know what happened between them but I was in the office working around 3PM. Gracie was laying on the floor outside the office door. Snoopy got up and walked past her into Natalie's room, and then walked back out of Natalie's room, snarled once, and it was game on. He laid into her and they were rolling over and over and LuLu jumped up and ran in there and Greg and I came running with squirt bottles and by then he had a hold of her ear up by the base of it and he dragged her across the rug into
Natalies room almost to her bed by that poor ear before we could get him off of her, both of us spraying squirt bottles in his face and ........</div><div><br></div><div>She was fine. Not a mark, not a scrape, not a scratch, no blood, the ear didn't swell up anywhere, nothing. We locked him in Natalies room and she was helicopter wagging and digging on all the attention. Wanted to play. I'm SERIOUS!!!!!</div><div><br></div><div>So we let him out of Natalies room and the two of them acted like nothing ever happened. WHAT???? It was world war 3 complete with reinforcements 10 minutes ago..... what the heck??? I took them for a walk after dinner together, Gracie and Snoopy, and they were shoulder to shoulder bumping along. After dinner all 3 dogs curled up on the couch and watched a movie with Greg and I and at bed time .... get this .....</div><div><br></div><div>I wanted to get everyone settled. I was
worried. LuLu was asleep on the couch and wouldn't wake up. Gracie followed us and Snoopy did too and they both wanted to be at the foot of the bed so I grabbed Gracie and pulled her up on my pillow while Snoopy settled at my feet and as soon as I turned out the light she jumped up and ran down to the foot of the bed and spooned with Snoopy and they slept like that all night.</div><div><br></div><div>What is up with these (and I use the term lightly) dogs???? BASSETS ARE GOING TO BE THE DEATH OF ME YET!!!!</div><div><br></div><div>More later from the utterly clueless momPerson</div><div><br></div><div>oh .... and there's more ..... when all this happened I got so upset I wrote a drooler for advise and she replied "well, if it REALLY bothers y'all you could hire an animal behavioralist to explain their stuff to you. You don't need a trainer" I have to say it, labs never ever did anything like this!!!!!</div><div
