The boy is out of surgery, and in "twilight" and for the first time in all the years I have had my dogs at the vet for surgical procedures, I was told he is on a heating pad (all post op pets are). I called the Vet seconds before he was going to call me. We do have a bit of psychic connection that way. It is a combination of how long I can stand it, and I know reasonably well the schedule versus how many other interrupting calls get in the way. In more than a few occasions our call ratio has been spot on.<div><br></div><div>I am told the growth was VERY deep and JP may have some sphincter issues post op. My response to this is I will deal with poop and rejoice in life. OMG, I am almost ready to do a happy dance, but I will wait until he is actually home. He is staying at the Vet overnight, and it is commanded, not on my request, and I believe it is the best plan for the boy. Plus, he will get great pain management there!!!!!!!!</div><div><br></div><div>I think tonight maybe vodka would be better than wine. I want to cry so much. But I am grateful. Jean Paul is the sweetest dog to the family, but a fierce protecter and he scares even the most die hard animal people. He is my alpha boy, and he would protect me with all his being if need be, and I reciprocate that to him.</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you droolers for your support.</div><div><br></div><div>Jackie, and Pierre birthday boy is all ok with everything, since he is 4, he has some brains now.</div> </div></body>
