12.0pt;font-family:"Arial Narrow"'>After 2 weeks of company, we were just
beginning to relax (had a 2yr old and 4 yr old, our youngest grandchildren)
plus 11 sleeping at our home for 2 nights.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

12.0pt;font-family:"Arial Narrow"'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>

12.0pt;font-family:"Arial Narrow"'>Tilly, Phoebe and Harvey spent 4 nights at
the kennel – then came home to being gated in the laundry room for 3-4
hours at a time for the next 10 days!! Our daughter-in-law does not LIKE dogs
and has made her little ones AFRAID. What I really mean is that she HATES dogs.
Is very annoyed that we have dogs and cannot watch the children full time when
they are here so SHE can have a vacation!!<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

12.0pt;font-family:"Arial Narrow"'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Arial Narrow"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt;font-family:"Arial Narrow"'>After they left, things got very quiet and I
started walking our 3, one at a time as usual. Harvey and I were at the corner
of our 1/4<sup>th</sup> mile cul de sac, and the two pit bull mixes got loose,
out of their fenced area and lunged at <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Harvey</st1:place></st1:City>!!
Thank “dog” he only got 2 little teeth marks on his side. He
turned around and bark/growled loudly, I screemed and they LEFT!! No one on
the street heard me. I was really shook up and pursued to call the owners
immediately. The husband came over, very apologetically, saying it will NEVER
happen again. Yeah, Sure!!<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Arial Narrow"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt;font-family:"Arial Narrow"'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Arial Narrow"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt;font-family:"Arial Narrow"'> These dogs get loose often. I have called
them so many times, that when I called yesterday, they answered by saying, “are
my dogs loose again?” We have young babies and preschoolers on our
street plus many other dogs. I could not bring myself to walk past their house
today. I know I have to because my dogs are used to being walked in addition to
our large fenced area.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Arial Narrow"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt;font-family:"Arial Narrow"'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Arial Narrow"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt;font-family:"Arial Narrow"'>I have decided to carry my whistle with me
whenever I walk. I’m too unsure of carrying mace or pepper spray. Might
get so excited I’d spray my own dogs or myself!! Any suggestions for me?<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

12.0pt;font-family:"Arial Narrow"'>I know I should report this family, but so
far I have not done anything. I was going to talk to my vet tomorrow. We both
use him. We have only lived in this neighborhood 1 ˝ years. They have been
reported by other neighbors several times. It does not affect them!!<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Harvey</st1:place></st1:City>. He is so good
natured and my gate guard!! He barks loud but would never hurt anyone. He
seems OK but I don’t know how this will affect him with other dogs.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
