<DIV>Good morning drool family, I have a question for all of the
bright stars in this family of friends, bwahahaha OK so my vet
recommended that I fix my girls sweet potato chips for a snack, I have
done this three times now and they come out like rubber, limp as a
_______ never mind wont go there !!!! how do I get them to
crisp up, I slice them really thin and put them on a cookie sheet and bake
them, no fried food here. the girls love them, but we need
some crunch !!!!!!!!!! we want crunchies !!!!!!</DIV>

<DIV>well I have to tell all of you that since I started home cooking for Maggie
her allergies have taken a turn for the GOOD, hardly any redness and NO
lesions at all. we are talking 5 years of pure hell here with skin
infections and desensitizing shots and all kinds of special diets, Nothing
worked, she was drugged up Hydroxyzine so bad that we could hardly get her
up to go out and pee but (she didn't scratch ) to make a long story
shorter, after some advice and convincing from two of my all time favorite
droolers, I took to home cooking, NOT and easy or inexpensive
task . but I started out with just 2 items Venison & sweet
potatoes, that's it, nothing else, no veggies no
supplements , I just lied, she takes Stempets 1 pill a day,
just Venison & sweet potatoes. now we have added squash &
fish oil, she is still doing good. she did have some itchies
yesterday, but she was out in the grass, she wears a coat, but I do
NOT have under wear to cover her butt, my neighbors think I am insane,
here is a Basset with a coat and socks on all 4 feet, we have gone from 3 baths
a week down to 1 and all of her hair has grown back in.If I see her
start scratching she gets 2 Benadryl to calm her down. NO MORE RICE
!!!!!!!!!!!</DIV>

<DIV>Rebecca, I would try home cooking for Morse, you should
notice a difference in just a few days, I can't even begin to tell you how many
different brands of dog food we have switched Maggie to in over the last 5
years and nothing helped.</DIV>
