<div dir="ltr">April 17th marks one year since Basil's former owner took him to be put to sleep for being old~~thank god Basil had had the same vet since he was 12 weeks old and they weren't going to put a healthy 12 year old dog they all loved to sleep just because his owner couldn't be bothered anymore.  So the vet and Basil's pet sitter who had know him his whole life as well, and San Diego basset rescue, put it out there that Basil was looking for a home.  And on June 22nd (Bob and Jasmines gotcha day~~remember there are no coincidences in life) I found him on petfinders and daddy flew to California to get him and rented a car and drove him home to live out his life at "Shea Bob the DOg's".  We just celebrated his 13th Birthday, now his 1 year new life day, and on June 28th it will be a year he is ours!!  <div>
