<st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Indiana</st1:place></st1:State> and we have deer flies mostly all summer. When they are gone towards August the horse flies appear, which are worse. They do bite, can actually draw blood on me! I use Avon’s Skin-So-Soft
(I don’t sell Avon) on myself and my dogs. It works and you don’t need much. It is a bit oily but that is not a problem considering getting bitten by them is the alterative.
