<DIV>I am behind again in my drools.  Friday I retired after 39 years at 

Share, and that was quite stressful, despite being given a fantastic retirement 

party by the company.  The the next day, I went into the hospital with 

diverticulitis, and got home today.  </DIV>

<DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>We have had a leather couch in the family room for many years with 3 dogs, 

and it looks almost as good as the day we got it.  The dogs sat on it all 

the time.  Ben also has his own personal leather recliner, that outside of 

needing to be cleaned every once in a while shows no scratches.  The 

upkeep is so much easier than cloth.  </DIV>

<DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Regarding people and their dogs and Ben.  I really do not have problem 

with them.  I say Ben hates dogs, and they keep theirs close.  Most 

times I just cross the street.  Those that know Ben will at times cross the 

street before I do, knowing how Ben is.  </DIV>

<DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Lastly, drool is going out to Emily, Elsinore and all others that are in 

need of it.  Ben will be working extra to make all the drool needed.  

I and Ben are also sending some of Milwaukee's cooling drool(it is only in the 

60's here) to all the houndies and rescues that are in the midst of that 

terrible heat wave out west.  Hope all the humans and hounds are save and 

staying cool until it cools out there.</DIV>
