<div dir="ltr">Well, I was so stinking smug when we made it through grass season with flying colors. I know better. I have been playing this game for so many years with so many bassets. Grass season is pretty much over and weed season hasn't begun, so I thought I was in the clear. I didn't count on the rains. After last summer's drought, I hate to complain about the rain, but it is driving up the mold count.<div>
<br></div><div style>The crew was looking SO good. Not any more. Poor Beauford. His eyes are bloodshot and his ear are fire engine red and ulcerated. I have had to add a low dose prednisone to his hydroxazine about every three days. I thought Browyn the Fairy Princess was going to rip her skin off. She is lucky and on the least amount of meds, so I just added hydroxazine. Bugsey is on Atopica every three days. I am giving him eye drops on the third day. </div>
<div style><br></div><div style>I am going to try to get everyone bathed by this weekend (along with Waryear Prinz and Fairy Princess pedicures) and get all new bedding out with new toys. When I say "new" I really mean clean and not out right now. I am hoping this not only helps the hounds, but helps me as well. </div>
