Colt woofing in from the new ASTT
HQ. That's right. The Anti-Squirrel Terrorism
Team has successfully relocated from the Florida Gulf Coast to Howling
Hound Acres in Southern Indiana. We just got internet connected on Saturday but
we had some technically difficulties sending e-mails until today when dadperson
fixed the puter. Our new home is finally starting to look like a
home instead of a storage shed. Ruger & I thought that we had
better let everyone know how much different life out here at the farm is than
life at the big beach town. For instance we now have 40 acres to patrol instead
of the 2/10's of an acre that we had in Florida. The weather is a little
cooler here and the humidity is a lot lower. Most of the time it is so
quite out here that you can hear the mice farting in the corn field that is on
the back side of our yard. It is so quite that you can hear the lighting
bugs blink on and off. Hey man I mean to tell you that it is
quite!!! Ohhhh and across the street from us live the biggest dogs that
Ruger and I have ever seen!!! Let me tell you they are humongous! and they
all must have tummy aches because they are all eating grass. What's
that Ruger? ohhh really? Ruger said that momma called them
cows. Look like gigantic dogs to me. Ruger also said that he overheard
momma talking to dad and she wants to get some of those big dogs...I mean cows
next spring. Ruger does that mean we have to become cattle herding
doggies? He shrugged his shoulders...he don't know anything. OHH and
get this, We haven't seen a squirrel in the 7 days that we've
been here...but there is a bigger varmint here...momma called it a groundhog.
Grandpaw said that we need to kill it before it digs the foundation out from
under our barn, or the garage. It has already dug a big hole under our AC
unit. It tear up that AC unit and Ruger and I will kill it. No one mess
with our AC. Momma won't let us out by ourselves anymore until the dog
security fence gets installed..some nonsense about coyotes roaming the area. We
haven't seen one of those either but we hear they are pretty bad mamba-jambas
and have even killed some doggies around here. Anyway we are starting to get
adjusted to this new place but at first we were not happy that our whole
world had been turned inside out and upside down. But we are starting to
dig it here, we get to see grandmaw and grandpaw a lot more and there are all
sorts of new critters around here that visit our pasture like turkey and deer.
mmmm turkey....mmmmm deer. Okay I need to go, I'm drooling all over
the puter, don't want to short it out and get electrocuted. Then we have to
change the name of the farm to Electric Hound Acres. ROFLMAO. oh
that's a good one. Anyway just wanted to let everyone know that we have
finally made the big move and are doing well.
