It includes instructions for use when dealing with pseudomonas as well as other types of ear problems. This is helpful information for those dealing with ear infections as well as those with hound ears to maintain. From my personal experience, BPET does work on even the toughest ear problems but as someone mentioned you want to be sure the eardrum is intact.

As for a hound that wants to remove your fingers, I recommend having someone to assist you with the process. You may also want to give something to calm him or her down a bit before you start working on the nails. I've also had good results using a basket muzzle on a dog to prevent being bit. It's important to get the dog accustom to wearing the muzzle before using it during the ear cleaning process.

I've also used the muzzle successfully for nail trimming. He had never ever bit anyone or even thought about it except for having his nails trimmed. With the muzzle in place he would tolerate having his nails trimmed more easily. After awhile, he would sit quietly as soon as the muzzle was in place. We eventually got to the point where he would let me trim his nails without the muzzle but I always had it right there incase I needed it. With time and patience, he seemed to realize that I wasn't going to hurt him and accepted the process more easily. There was always abundant praise during the process and many treats when we were done.
