She has a couple of calcified vertebras in the middle of her back, and what happens is she will go out to the back yard via the pet door ramp, and somehow while In the yard she steps in a low spot or somehow twists her back, and the muscles around the calcified area seize up. So she is fine when she goes out and not good when she comes back in. She takes muscle relaxers and pain pills for a few days, and so far it gets better. Of course Sister Holly is in the 13 to 14 year old range, so these episodes are pretty scary. The vet checks and it’s not discs, thank doG, so no surgery needed, but it’s still frightening to the Mama. She’s okay, so no drool required. Send it all to Debbie and Dawn and Marlene’s nephew Ryan and all the hounds who are in need. Holly is a kisser not a drooler, so she is sending lots of soft kissies. Crazy Sister Bebe drools enough for five dogs, so Bebe is sending buckets of nice slimy drool to anyone and everyone who needs it. Fingers and paws crossed for everyone’s full recovery.
