<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif;font-size:small">Had a chat with Debbie Winchester this afternoon. She is not doing real well, is depressed and exhausted. The radiation has given her severe thrush, so her mouth and throat are VERY sore, making it impossible to eat. Plus, everything tastes "off".</div>

<div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif;font-size:small">She has boxes and cards from all of you that she has not had the strength to open. Cookie, she mentioned yours. She is just too wiped out to do more than breathe and sleep.</div>

<div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif;font-size:small">She wants everyone to know how much it means to her, but that she (right now) lacks the ability to deal with anything other than getting to treatment and home.</div>

<div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif;font-size:small">So if you have sent her a card or a gift or a box or a anything, and have not received acknowledgement or a thank you, please do not be offended. She simply cannot do it.</div>
