<div dir="ltr"><div>I'm in shock. Basil went in to the vet this morning for what was supposed to be a minor procedure to remove a wart from him gum. They called me less than an hour later to say they'd found aggressive cancer in his throat and recommended putting him to sleep without waking him.<br>
