<body class='hmmessage'><div dir='ltr'>Pumpkin and Pierre are done with their procedures, for Pumps, a splenectomy and liver biopsy and for Pierre, an ultrasound and liver biopsy.<div><br></div><div>Both are recovering nicely at the Vet's, and while I could have brought Pierre home tonight, I opted that he stay overnight so he doesn't get banged by the guys here. Plus, he would still be groggy. Pumps will be there 2-3 more days. She has a 9" incision on her belly with 30+ staples to close the incision. Internally, sutures were used, of course.</div><div><br></div><div>Now the wait for the lab results.</div><div><br></div><div>And the really bad news is that Pierre has cirrhosis.</div><div><br></div><div>The Vet told me some of the meds he will be getting, but right now I don't remember.
