<P>I am thinking that they would help insulate under a crate, a lot.  I actually saw where you could make doggie steps out of the same Styrofoam sheets and glue. They aren't very expensive. I think a dog could chew the stuff, but if they are in the crate, and it is underneath, it seems manageable.</P>
