<div dir="ltr">This has been quite a year. So many people have been sick and so many of our beloved babies have been sick and/or left us. I've had to cut back on reading all of these some because I've been fighting a depression and when I read about others, I start worrying about my 14-year-old heart girl and then start bawling wondering what I'll ever do when I lose her. So for my own mental health, I've had to cut back a bit. I just wanted to send out heartfelt prayers and healing drool to all who need it. You all are in my constant prayers. I've come to love this wonderful community of Basset Hound lovers and I share in your joys and your pains.<div><br></div><div>I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow drooler last Sunday when I was walking my babies. She happened to be driving by to go to her mom's church (I believe) and saw me with the dogs. She stopped & as we started chatting, she told me that she had 3 and lives in Olathe (I'm in Gladstone). When she told me her name (Mary Wignes), I asked her if she was on any basset groups because her name sounded familiar. Sure enough, she's a Drooler! Hound lovers are just the best people in the world.</div><div><br></div><div>I want to wish all of you a safe, healthy & happy Christmas and much peace, love, good health, happiness, and financial strength in the new year.<br clear="all"><div><br></div>-- <br><div class="gmail_signature"><div>Vicki Kerns, Cleopatra Christina von Wigglebutt (the first) and Quincy P.
