<div dir="ltr"><pre>Debbie's Dawgs $5 Friday for Basset Buddies Rescue of TX is this Friday, June 5^th through <br>Sunday June 7^th.<span style>  </span>Austin is one of the seniors who will be helped by your $5 Friday donation.<span style>  </span><br>Austin had spinal damage and dragged his back legs around so much, the staff built him a special<br>ramp to his kennel. Basset Buddies rescued him and took him straight to a vet to determine his <br>quality of life. <span style> </span>Austin was found to be 12 years old, missing several teeth, heartworm positive,<br>his trachea is weakening so that howling is out of the question, he had skin/ear infections and<br>was underweight. Basset Buddies wanted to give him a few days or weeks to feel real love and a <br>full belly. Well, within a week this old man had some pep in his step. Pain medication helped <br>him regain control of his back legs, a cheeseburger a day helped fill his belly and he gets more<br>snuggles than he ever expected. Spoiled is an understatement!  Every stranger he meets walks <br>away in love with him. Austin has had at least one day where he had seizures and refused food, <br>but he fought through it and has no intentions of going anywhere yet. We don't know what his <br>first 12 years of life were like for him, but his last bit will have lots of food and belly rubs!<br>We all know how expensive meds for these seniors can be.<span style>  </span>Please join us in doing what we can to<br>make the lives of senior bassets in rescue better and in promoting senior adoptions.<span style>  </span>Paypal <br>donations to Basset Buddies Rescue of TX at <a href="mailto:info@bbrtx.org">info@bbrtx.org</a> or to <a href="mailto:debbiesdawgs@icloud.com">debbiesdawgs@icloud.com</a>.<span style>  </span><br>Checks made out to the rescue go to BBR of TX 4019 Mason Stone Lane, Katy TX 77494.<span style>  </span><br>Debbie's Dawgs so appreciates every donation, no matter how small.<span style>  </span>Thank you for honoring <br>Debbie and helping these seniors in rescue.<span style>  </span>They were her heart.</pre><pre></pre><pre>Pam and my seniors Henry and Abel</pre></div>
