Some say tomato juice, I say milk. A bit expensive, but worth it.

SKUNK DE-ODOR RECIPE
1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide (the kind you buy in brown bottles at the
drug store)
1/4 cup baking soda
1 tsp liquid soap
(This amount is enough for a small dog; double the recipe for a Basset.)
Slop liberally all over the dog or cat. Wring out a rag with it to clean
face several times. Rinse well. Follow with a regular dog shampoo bath. NOTE:
You cannot make this solution in advance and store it (which is why it is
not available commercially). It is strictly a make-when-needed product.

(ANOTHER RECIPE)
Bathe in a gallon of milk. Let drip dry. Bathe with dog shampoo, rinse
well. Repeat milk bath & shampoo if odor lingers.
