I remembered the days of Roy's Bassets but was fuzzy on the details so I'm glad I asked and that my instincts were right! We are staying far, far away. We've been in contact with a BHCA couple that no longer breeds and they are looking for us but I didn't want to just leave the job completely up to them so we've been searching quite a bit. We actually looked into rescuing first but all of the older dogs reminded us so much of our Lily. </font></div></blockquote><blockquote type="cite"><div><font color="#000000"> That said, Lily created such a soft spot in our hearts for senior dogs that in the future I'd love to adopt an older girl (or two!) if I can.
