Has your vet considered that Jeffery's Cushings might
have transitioned into Addison's Disease? It does happen sometimes
after treatment for Cushings and Addison's symptoms almost always include
hind leg weakness. It might be worth testing him to find out.

Hello to all,

We are having a time with Jeff.He has had cushings for 4 years now.He will
be 11 this coming Monday.

He is on Trilostane. His back legs are getting weaker and now one of his
front legs is start is starting to show weakness. He has started growling
alot, which is not my Jeff.He continually goes after our 13.5 year old
cocker spaniel who is blind and deaf, none of the others go after him.Any
suggestions on what we should do?He is our very first basset, got him at
16
weeks. He's the reason we got into basset rescue when we lived in
Illinois. We have 2 other bassets, also 11-not littermates and another cocker
that is 12.

Thanks for listening,
