She was getting lazy and peeing in the house. I now give her a small dose of rimadyl for arthritis and Proin to help control her bladder muscles. She is doing great in that respect. I think she may have hurt a little and the rimadyl has really helped. As for shampooing, if one of them has ever gone on a throw rug you will see a small spot but underneath it has spread to a wide 12 inch circle. Same with your carpet. I suck up as much wet as I can with a wet/dry vac, then pour about a quart of KOE mixed with warm water over it and let it soak in. Then suck that up until no more wet comes up, then sprinkle Arm and Hammer Pet fresh over it. Let it dry. It will draw the rest up and then vacuum that up.
