<p class="MsoNormal">Dolly is home again. She is doing very well. Had to stay overnight at the vet for fluids and IV meds. She did have pyometra and needed an emergency spay. The puppies are nearly 5 weeks old and doing well with solid ( soaked and mushed up
kibble) food. They are drinking water as well- though they aren’t all that impressed with it’s taste lol.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We are keeping Dolly from nursing the puppies by putting a shirt over her ( aka booby trap). She was quite happy to be with them again. By not nursing- she will be able to finally start gaining weight. She weighed in at 28.5 pounds yesterday.
She should probably weigh at least 40 pounds. </p>
