</head><body><p>That "trade" command is a scathingly brilliant idea! I've always lured forbidden objects away from my puppers with treats, but would often have to run for the treat before I could obtain the object. "Trade" would provide the opportunity to give the command, snatch the forbidden fruit, and then run for the treat. I can recall one trip to the vet it would definitely have saved! (Our Lab, Scout, was a veritable vacuum cleaner.) We are now training Emma and Dobby to "trade."
