<p>As you may have heard, an outbreak of Canine Influenza is affecting an alarming number of pets across the Bay Area. There are two strains of the canine flu affecting pets: H3N2 and H3N8. Both strains are highly contagious and can be easily passed between dogs who interact. Recent cases in the Bay Area have been confirmed as H3N2. Unlike the flu that humans experience, canine flu is not seasonal: your pet is susceptible year-round.
