One being more time wasting opportunities, click this / see that, etc.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The other side of facebook is the ad display, the bot news garbage, and worst … the pervasive tracking. I get it, these are things that make facebook “free”, but also something that keeps me away for any regularity. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Google+ and any google owned entity is every bit as bad and worse with tracking as Google’s last update to their authentication mechanism means you can’t just close and open your browser to clear out your direct connection to your google account and hence first point of them tracking you .. you have to log out then remove your account in two or three steps.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Google does have “Google Groups” which operates similarly to NewsGroups, though again there is a tracking component and sign-in like Google+<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>There could also be a group under Yahoo Groups (if familiar with FreeCycle that’s how they go about it) YahooGroups is like Google Groups which is like .. what we have here in email, but web based. Yahoo doesn’t seem to have the sign-in stigma but that doesn’t mean it won’t.
