She is celebrating by spending the day at puppy playtime, where she’s madly in love with a beagle named Willie. (Fortunately, there will be no bagel love children!) I am so thankful she’s in my life. My late husband had been adamant that we get a puppy before his surgery, and he was certainly right – don’t know if he knew he wouldn’t survive, but for whatever reason, I’m glad we did it and Tallulah joined the family when she did. She’s just finished therapy dog training, but we have some serious practicing to do. The one skill at which she spectacularly failed was the “walk by the meatballs on the floor” test – never saw her move so fast in her life as she did scooping up those meatballs! I think the test discriminates against short dogs - a Great Dane is a lot further away from the temptation than a basset!<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>Happy Birthday, Miss Tallullah P!
