<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">First of all I, Merta Lou professional Lady Basset wish to wish all of you a very merry Christmas and hope for a happy and prosperous new year.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">Also want to thank everyone for the gorgeous cards. I would love to sniff you all but the cards will have to do, I guess. Thank you, again. They have brought much pleasure to all of us.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">Now there is a new dog behind us beyond the fence and Mr Doc, who has missed his friend back there terribly, watching all the time lest he return (he just vanished one day according to Doc but I think he was very sick.) so that he can run the fence again. And the other day, lo and behold, there was a dog there and they briefly ran the fence but the other dog had to go inside.(SHE just let Doc run for the moment.)</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">I gather something special is going on since the dirt eating machine was out extra yesterday and the day before and She did  something with all the little things on shelves called "dusting" She even cleaned the little room where they get wet several times in a row.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">Poor Doc is beside himself saying "They must be coming here" but he is vague about who they is unless it is the bearded one. I am afraid of all of them especially the Other One who sniffs like Doc-dogs and once made a loud noise at me and really frightened me. Doc said she was playing but all I know is that it scared me to death. That one does not sniff like family.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">Also she is messing with some big meat thing that has Doc drooling. I don't know but will send an update asap.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">Love and Cuddles and Thank you all for the cards </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">MertaLou (and Doc)</div></div>
