<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">when I came here I was used to the food in a bag and some treats when they wanted me to be sociable, (Fat chance, then or now). </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">When I came here there was another Hound, Mr. Conley. He went away. I do not know why. But it was not because of what he ate.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">First he ate green sticks called Aspergrass. I did not want the green sticks but he ate them and liked them (a lot) and even Mr. Doc the black dog ate them so I tried them and they were....odd. But slowly I got so I kind of liked them.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">Then there is the stuff she makes to put on our kibble. At first I was horrified. But but but....you know.....it is chicken. And beans. And these weird orange potatoes. And berries that are kind of blue and taste pretty good by themselves. And apples you mentioned apples and apples are ok too. And carrots which are kinda sweet and crunchy  and I liked crunchy a whole lot. Rocks are crunchy and once I ate a rock but carrots taste better and you don't have to go to the Vetspital with carrots so eat carrots, not rocks.And she cooks it until it is altogether and then puts it on our kibble. And it is good. Really, really good.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">So this is Merta Lou saying trust me, Hippies are good and their food is good as long as they don't try to give you peanut butter which glues your mouth shut and often has pills in it so don't eat peanut butter I don't.</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">Love and Cuddles to all </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">Merta Lou</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">Professional Lady Basset</div></div>
