A few weeks later, wearing my Basset Rescue hat, I took a call from a young man who wanted to surrender his family's dog, because his sister had moved back home with a new baby and the basset was banished to the kitchen.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">He sent me photos and I was shocked at her likeness to Tessie. Long story short, Shiloh moved in with my XH and enjoyed five years of being doted on, running amok in three acres and sleeping on his bed.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Sadly, on Wednesday, Shiloh also made her way to the bridge, aged 13. She was a sweet, affectionate girl and will be greatly missed.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">On Sunday, my new foster arrives. I am looking forward to meeting her and introducing her to you all. I still get updates from Athena, who is getting on very well with her new sister and is enjoying life by the sea.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Sally, waiting for a new friend, UK</div></div></body></html>
