( like 8+) first as a grain free and now as a food with grain. I too saw the warning with months ago. it had me concerned because each of my last 3 bassets died young from assorted cardiac, liver, and a brain tumor issue. but 1 had allergies so it helped.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">so, me being me, I called fromm. spoke to their people. they suggested to NOT feed grain free if I did not have to. they said next years research may suggest something else but for now don't feed it unless you must. ok. except I had just purchased a large bag of grain free food from them. "give it away, to a friend, shelter who ever. a fresh new 26 lb bag of food is on it's way to you. free." they did not have to do that but I sure appreciated it.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">vet said the same thing. don't feed it if you don't have to. so now I don't. fromm , with grains. my dogs have always done well on it, and very few if any recalls. I order it from petflow. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">the only complaint I hear is that there is never enough in the bowl (says the 61 lb basset who would eat the whole food bin if I let him)</div></div></body></html>
