My Mom and Dad put a tree in our living room today. They got all sorts of stuff out of the attic that I have never seen before. They got out a bazillion lights, a million shiny things, and a hundred bows that they put on the tree. Dad said that if I hurt the tree or tried to go potty on it that he would make me into a “tree topper”! Although I don’t know what a “tree topper” is, I don’t think that sounds too good!

Mom got new decorations out for me to explore. She yelled at me once because I took the “Y” from “JOY” off the shelf to taste it .. what did she expect, it is made out of wood! Then I found some new stuffed animals. There is a red velvet dog … Mom thinks I can’t reach it … but we will see ;-)!! There is also a white fluffy bear, a brown teddy bear, and a moose too! And Mom dressed her bunnies up in Christmas outfits. I am waiting until Mom takes a nap on the couch to see if these new furry friends want to play with me.

Then I figured it all out … they keep saying Christmas is coming! They are getting ready for my first birthday party! You remember, I was born on Christmas last year and my name is Red Bay Father Christmas! I feel so special … none of the other dogs get parties this big! WOW!

Slurps,

Nick
