I joined them in their bed to listen as Mom read them a bedtime story about the first Thanksgiving. Boy, did those Pilgrims have it rough!!! Besides having to wear those funny hats, they didn’t have much food to eat, they were cold and sick all the time, and the Indians were not always friendly. I started to think about how lucky I am. So … in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I decided to tell you the TOP 10 things I am thankful for.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>10. I am thankful that I have other bassets to play with.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>9. I am thankful that the squirrels like to play with me.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>8. I am thankful that I have a BIG backyard to run in.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>7. I am thankful that girl bassets don’t rip my face off!<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>6. I am thankful I have MY OWN picnic table to sun myself on.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>5. I am thankful I have a warm house with lots of pillows.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>6. I am thankful that I have people to snuggle me and to rub my belly and ears.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>3.
