Eureka!!! 
You live 2479 miles from me and the dogsface butterfly is the state insect. Actually that is Clues 2 3 & 4.  Clue # 1  This is my second year doing the SP exchange. This year my SP is from the same state as last years. Quite a long ways from me > I really don't think my SP is reading clues now but I have lots more. #5 Your state animal is the grizzly. #6 The person that founded the city where you live has  a last name that is the same as part of a candle.
