OK - it is time to be the "Mommy" . . .
I'm hearing that some pawtners have not let their
pawtners know that their package arrived and that
some pawtners have yet to send a thank you to the
person who took the time and went to the trouble
and expense to put a package together for them. On
VERY rare occasions, this is forgivable, but generally,
it is NOT. I don't think this is too much to ask of anyone.
So . . . repeat offenders of the above will not be participating
in future secret pawtner exchanges. Not only do they take
away from the spirit of the exchange, they make the exchange
even more time consuming for the person who organizes it.
And that would be me . . .
I am not pointing my finger at anyone and there is still
time to notify and thank your pawtner if you haven't
already. We do have people out of town and that have
situations that require their full attention right now and
that's understandable. But there needs to not be a reason
that someone has to email me because they don't know if their
pawtner got their package or if they even appreciated their
package. We're all grown-ups here - let's do the right thing
and say thank you.
While I'm at it (I"m tired and cranky today), if you sign up
and say you are going to do clues, then do clues.
I'm truly glad that so many of you obviously had a great
time this year and it is always my pleasure to organize
the exchange (really, it is!). My thanks to everyone who
got into the spirit of things and especially to those who were
kind enough to send out extra care packages.
Donna, who doesn't like to have to be the Mommy except
to Elmo, Pw Pauline, Gracie and Pw Bosley
