Dearest ChunkyGrandpuppy, Queen Olive, Maggiebeagie and Auntie Marilyn-

Congratulations! You have successfully guessed us! We knew you would get it the second Auntie Angelika had to come clean. US thank her and her SP for playing along! It is very hard to have your very own grandbaby as a SP!! We also figured the Mathis DVD would be a give away....and thank our former SP's Auntie Linda in Florida and Auntie Sherry in Arizona for mailing those two boxes. At some point we knew it was time to be figured out.....and it was just too much fun messing with your mind! We had a fair bit of help doing it! It was hard, cause with a trailer full of basset crap in the driveway, we couldn't shop Tri-State cause you had already shopped through the stuffs for days on end in the spring! Couldn't use our old SP tricks, cause you had helped us every year!


Although thousands of people petted feyfey and a whole lot petted US, there were only three days of basset events where US and feyfey were together. Nudgie joined the family in June 2003.  Cakie lived with Hank and Sharon back then. Sharon brought Cakers to Nationals on the last day, Friday. I think it was October 3.  Cakie stayed for a last round of consultation with feyfey and all three attended Auntie Nancy's Drool picnic the next day. Many of their Aunties, including Barbsoda, Sandy Gaston, Angelika and Marilyn petted the trio that day. Feyfey's last social appearance was at the Metro Bash three weeks later.  Cakie went home. Feyfey took herself to the bridge on Howloween, 2003. There were only 19 days that US were both together wif feyfey.

...and this year's Mathis clue? That my secret pawtner had recently been equidistant between where someone who worked for Mr. M went to school and was on that day? Auntie M! You were at SLOBBERFEST. Where my slave, Aunties Pat, Carol, Sharon, Amanda, Pat Wood and WENDELL  had been to hear Mathis in Pittsburgh the night before and there was another concert the same night. Which was, give or take a mile.....equidistant from Bowling Green Ohio where Mr. M's much too talented conductor went to college. (Easy to find )
