Happy dancin in da hideout tonight as da box is no longer being held hostage.
And on my, my, my what a wonderful box it is. I had more fun opening each of our marvelous SP gifties which were enclosed in the most adorable little straw/reed baskets complete with ribbon. It was like Christmas in August............
Da Gang was a sniffing and investigating each and every little box. Sam kept trying to steal them and take them out the dog door. :o)
Our SP Val Brewer sent us the most wonderful, magnificent box all the way from Hawaii.
To start, perfect sized basset lei's, the most beautiful you have even seen, da Brudder Elwoods most famous book, a Tracker Beanie Babie, Potato and Duck treats, the cutest little box of games and treat cards with basset coasters and cookie cutters ( da Gang wants to know when I'm making treats again) and Val was so thoughtful to include the cutest little ball with feather toys for the meows and some kitty greens.
I gotta start those growing soon.
But the most special and most precious SP giftie was the head of a basset (mebbe pocelain, I'm not very good with mediums) that she found at an antique store. It is the most wonderful basset head ever. I am know looking for the perfect spot on a wall to display the bassie head.
Thank you so much Val for making SP 2009 so very special for we. I just wish I could hop a plane and come to Hawaii so I could hug and thank you in person.
WAHOO! WAHOO! This is my most favorite time of year.
