I think you have me and my Wild Bunch.  
 
you have only one princess in your gang--yes, GoGo (at least she and I think she is a princess even if it is an unofficial title) and my Wild Bunch is definitely a gang

you have this kind of bread for breakfast--??? (OK, I need help with this one)

They went to these in places in the 60 to dance--GoGo (I changed her name from Goldie to GoGo because she practically walked upright when I got her from BHRG so I kept saying all she needed was a pair of gogo boots) 

mountains in the south--Smokey Mountains are in the south as is my basset mix, Smokey. 
 

Also, I checked the archives and in your first clues you said bulldogs are famous in my state.  That is very true here in Georgia. And you said ALL my bassets are more than droolers, since Smokey, GoGo and Harold are all three basset mixes, that fits us too.
