[Secretpawtner] Mon fififififififi!!!!! Sorry guys...she is mine!

OhmidawG, ohmicookies, ohmifififififi!! 

Yesterday I was staring out the doorway hoping for some passerby to woof at.... 

When I heard the soft flutter of wings (okay, the rotors of a helicopter!) 

I sensed greatness approaching. 

My nose turned skyward as the scent of lavender became stronger, carried on the wind...(or the rotors) 





It landed. I saw some desert dust on the bottom. 

There was a bit of a palm tree on the tail. 

The door opened. 

Then a footman tossed a handful of fine cookie crumbs into the path from the door. 

I saw her. 



The fairest basset in all the land. (or sky) 

A dainty yet elegant houndette. 

Boootiful hat, all pink and fluffy, eyes disguised by mirrored sunglasses. 

A rope of flowers around her neck, I think it is a lei from Hawaii. 





MON FIFI!! She is here. She is everything that Mr. Nudgie said she was. She is long and elegant, oops, I said that before....she woofed to me and I have bowed at her paws. She says she can stay, at least for a while...longer, pawhaps.....ohmidawG, ohmicookies, ohmififififi. I am her boy! She will share my cookies. Heck, she can have  my cookies!! 



Fifi is a generous girl. She lifted a dainty paw to the footman who fetched a big box. It had colorful color covers for me.....and and Cakie and Pawtunia......in a little basset zip bag for the she slave. She brought napkins for the humans wif bassets on them! She even brought a framed basset print for us to pawction for the paw hounds. Look out, gents...this might cost you a pretty penny....and Fifi is bright....she brought a lovely tin of Harry Barker cookies for Cakie and Pawtunia.......cause they may not have too many cookies around anymore...since I will be sliding so many to FIFI!! 





Y'all might think you have the best secret pawtner....but I know I do!!! Cause she came for ME!! Rusty!! Not only did she bring gifties, but she CAME!! Nobody else's secret pawtner came to stay..........not sure how long she will be with me. Hopefully for a long time, cause I have lots of cookies which should keep her happy. She did mention something about having a cousin Wendell...........Thank you MON FIFI!! Hmmmmn. 



Fifi and I are discussing whether she will make puplic appearances. She is not sure. I quick like got the she slave to take a couple pictures......but fifi hasn't said I could share them.......she is so pretty. 



I am a lucky hound....MON FIFI!! 





RUSTY 

....and Cakie (Hope I can still get a cookie around here....) 

....and PAWTUNIA (At least she brought some with her.)
