[Secretpawtner] Yes, Nancy Gallagher, you are our secret pawtner

Oh my--we have been guessed already! Congratulations, Nancy, on being the first 
this year to guess your secret pawtner. And I have so many more clues, too!

Recap: 1. Not all of your four-leggers are bassets. (Nancy lives with a basset, 
an Irish wolfhound, and two ragdoll cats.
2. A number of other people share your name--among them are a discus thrower, a 
divorce attorney, a history professor, a nurse, a residential appraiser, and a 
ballet costumer. (If you google "Nancy Gallagher", you will find not only our 
Drool alumna and potter par excellence, but also all of these other folks).
3.The area in which you live was once known for its ties to the underground 
railroad but is now known for its underground bands. (Or so says Wikipedia of 
Red Lion, Pennsylvania).

And I didn't get to post clue number 4, but it is my favorite so I'll include it 
in this recap:
4. Sven met Mickey on the street and they started discussing their homelands. 
Sven asked Mickey to lunch. They both wanted something from their native lands. 
Sven was hungry and Mickey just wanted a drink and a cigar. Mickey suggested 
they drop by Val's secret pawtner's house since he had heard the names of 
everything they wanted mentioned in connection with this place. (Nancy has a 
hound named "Meatball"--Swedish meatballs, get it?--and a wolfhound named 
"Guinness". And Red Lion, PA was once famous for its cigar manufacturing, and 
the town itself was named after a pub).

So....now I bet you'll be the first to receive your secret pawtner surprise,
