You don't live in Indiana and I've never been to your part of the world but
I just had the greatest time with Google Satellite looking at all the roads
and towns and places near your home.  It turns out that I have twice as many
Basset Hounds as you do, but we have the same number of dogs.

Clue 2
Oh dear, just a few blocks from your home you have a street with an ominous
name.  There is an ex Alaska Governor who likes to get her own way...this
street expresses just this situation.
It would be one really tired crow if it were to fly from my home to your
home in...well, you have to guess.  It would be 3910.27 miles, though.

A famous singer of about 70 years ago sang a song about a famous place about
70 miles from your home.  She lauded the major land form (it is beautiful)
but the lyricist didn't check carefully and put birds there that do not live
anywhere near you.  They live near me...but not you.  Break down the clue
and you may know your identity.

Now Clue 4
Your Basset Hound is a Little Angel compared to many of the more adventurous
hounds known to the Drool.
