[Secretpawtner] BIG Package - THANK YOU TO MY WONDERFUL SP, VAL BREWER!!

We arrived home after a long weekend mini-vacation and had our mail from 
the weekend delivered today. I think I was the first one to guess my 
Secret Pawtner and now I am the first to reveal the awesome goodies from 
Val Brewer - all the way from Hawaii!! On top of the post vacation 
surprise, my birthday is Wednesday so it feels like an extra special 
early birthday gift, too :-)

I opened Val's box to reveal a woven box FILLED with basset greeting 
cards for every occasion there could be. This is a *perfect* gift for me 
because I am rather notorious for heading up to the card shop at the 
last minute (oh, they live in NY, I can still buy the card, put a stamp 
on it and run to the post office and it will get there by Wed if I 
hurry). Now I have a supply right here and it will be ever so convenient 
to pick out a cute basset card and pop it in my own mailbox for the mail 
lady to pick up!

Really, that was more than enough, but my Secret Pawtner has outdone 
herself and added more! Next I opened a cute pupmobile magnet with 3 
bassets in a red VW. I had admired this basset magnet on ABC's site (you 
who are drooling can get one from the Slobber Shoppe) and it immediately 
went on the back of my car. Also in the box was a cute red & white 
houndie basset (who I believe is actually Joan Quigley's basset who took 
the photo for the magnet!), a handsome basset hound ornament we will 
save for our tree, a very appropriate ceramic sign that says 'no outfit 
is complete without dog hair' (so true) AND bonus goodies for the hounds 
AND cats. We got special 'Hawaiian Made' treats - a bag of liver and a 
bag of pineapple coconut! Both Meaty and Guinness have both sampled and 
approved! Last but not least, 2 adorable cat toys - with catnip! for the 
kitties.

We had so much fun opening up everything. Thank you Val, Harley and Bo 
for everything and for being fabulous Secret Pawtners!!!
