[Secretpawtner] thanks and reminders

My thanks to everyone for a smooth secret pawtner once we
got past the sign-ups - I still don't know why I didn't get some of
those sign-ups that first week!  My apologies again to those of
you involved in some of the confusion at the beginning.

Although a lot of you have been receiving your secret pawtner
packages, I wanted to remind those who haven't mailed their
packages yet that the mailing deadline is this coming Friday.
Any out of country packages that aren't already on their way
need to be sent ASAP.  If you are going to have a problem
meeting the mailing deadline, please notify me ASAP off
list.

I received very few names for hardship and illness packages
this year. If you know of a Drooler who is ill or in need, please
let me know ASAP by emailing me off list.  I will post any
need for volunteers for packages if I get any names.

Many of you expressed a desire or a willingness to send
a hardship package when you signed up. Let me suggest
that you consider sending a few dollars or even  some
treats or other items to your favorite rescue or foster family.

And last, thanks to everyone for your understanding and
patience with my situation this year.  It's been a hard
year at the Lindy house but secret pawtner is always
a project I enjoy and it has been good to have something
fun to focus on.

Now, I think there are still some clues being put out
and I'm reading about all kinds of fantastic surprises
and gifts - I hope everyone is good to their pawtner
this year!
