Aloha Claudia,
  Basically I am still stumped as to who is my secret pawtner, but on a longshot I am wondering if it could be you? Your clue today suggested that some residents of my town could eat in an alley. Here's the longshot--the main street in our little tourist town is called Alii Drive. (That is pronounced Ah-lee-Hee; but it sure looks like it could be pronounced Alley.) Alii Drive is lined with restaurants. 
  But....I can't recall having spoken to you on the telephone. E-mail, yes, but the phone? Anyhoo--could we be your secret pawtner? Val, Bo, and Harley
