One of our pawtners who usually plays isn't able to play this year  
because her husband had a stroke in February. He is still in rehab  
which makes for some very long days for Judi.  Here is what she wrote  
to me today:

  I am sure that he would be thrilled beyond belief to hear from  
fellow basset hound lovers; and I believe that it couldn't help but  
boost his spirits.  He unfortunately is presently unable to speak ,  
read or write..but his visual & auditory comprehension appear to be  
o.k.  As a matter of fact I just got back from  visiting him at the  
Rehab Facility with Honey.  He just lights up when he sees his Honey  
Bunny ..as does everyone else there.

Here is Paul's address if any of  you could take a minute and send him  
a card - including a picture of your hounds would be great.
