Nancy and the Girls!!!! yes yes yes!!!!! we're "it"! so glad you got your SP box of goodies: our cluz:  
#1 Wow! you are in the same state as a previous secret pawtner I had a few years ago...and it is where my family lives!  I might even be able to deliver your secret pawtner boxes to you pawsonally on a trip up there soon!  we wuz privileged to be the SP of Nancy Gallagher who lives in Red Lion PA...my family lives in Washington, PA and we was in PA in Harrisburg area and drove right past Nancy's house in Red Lion - we waved on the way by!
#2 - You have twice as many of one kind of basset as we are.  you have four female bassets, we are two...Hannah Banana and Becky

#3 - you and I share a love of one of your hobbies - I love to read too!
 
#4   you live about the same mileage from a Big City, as my family lives from that same Big City, but we are south of you...both roads lead to that BIG CITY!!!! ok, you live 40.3 miles from Pittsburgh, and my family lives 42 miles from Pittsburgh! 
 
#5   both you and my family live near the State Line  (oohh that should do it!) - you are close to the Ohio State Line, and so is my family in Washington PA

 #6     We are both in what were "swing battleground" states - but it seems both of our states are going decidedly one way now in recent months....you  have a famous big battleground in your state....we have a few "small" battlegrounds remaining in our state. - Gettysburg?  Several from the Civil Ward in Florida
 
#7    Do you like Schreck?  Tom Schreck!!! the author of the Dombrowski books. Tom is such a great supporter of basset rescue - he and his wife were so nice to change rooms with us at the hotel we stayed at for a BROOD event several years ago....they are just the best!  if you've already read the one we sent, you can return it for another, I'm sure Shelly would be happy to swap!
 
#8   Youze has "younger" hounds than us...your bassets' ages add up to 26 years, ours adds up to 36 years !  (momma only keeps the senior bassets 'cause she's old and can keep up with us'ns 'cause we move 
SLLLOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW! - no buppies!) your houndies are 5, 4, 9 and one is 7-9 years, so I added up the 5,4,9 and "in the middle" 8, =26 years of your hounds.  Hannah Bananna is 13, Becky is 12, and Buddy is 11=36!
 
#9   There are seven other states in the USA which have your city's name...and one in Canada, and one in Australia! - Midland - Texas, California, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio,  South Dakota, Washington State  and there is also a Midland in Ontario Province in Canada and another in the State of Western Australia. 
#10  you love tee shirts! (ok, this is the cluz which WILL do it!) that's what you told us in your signup! # 11              You have lots of pp around your house! - that's pampered pets---right???
 #12                Watch the front door! your gift box will be arriving any minute now!!!!! - horray...it arrived!
