OK, I'm going to make my first guess.  Gwen Dossy are you are SP?  


"We both like baking, especially for the hounds" - I have just started making homemade dog food for my crew - I posted that on FB and maybe asked on the Drool.

"We have 1 more hound then you, but 2 more girls" - We have two pups - 1 male and 1 female

"You live south of us and it would take 5 highways to get from our house to yours" - We think you live somewhere near or in Illinois (God Bless Google) and we live in Colorado.
