John Falk!  I think I figured you out with your first clues, but I didn't want to spoil your fun, so I was waiting for more clues to show up.

1.  I do like to compete.
2.  Ohio is a red state (although sometimes it turns a little purple)
3.  Alexander Hamilton was shot and killed by Aaron Burr (the then Vice President) and I live on Hamilton Street!  What is really funny is that the next street over from me is Aaron Street!  I think the developer had a sense of humor or history, I'm not sure which.
I also have a photo I took of Alexander Hamilton's grave in the church yard near Battery Park in NYC that I took some years ago.
